Default Where to buy

Go to the YOrkshire Terrier Club of America website at www.ytca.org and click on their breeder referral. You will find breeders in your State. If any of them don't have something available they may be able to refer you to someone that does. These are show breeders but what they will sell you is not a show dog. They are good, quality, Yorkies sold for pet under limited registration.
When you are buying from a reputable breeder, you often have to wait. Expect to be interviewed before any sale is agreed upon.
The Petite pups site looks like a broker or someone breeding way too many breeds of dogs. Never buy from someone breeding a bunch of dogs. Do not buy from a broker. A broker is no different from a pet store. They buy up puppies, litters, whatever, never see the parents usually sell all sorts of breeds, know nothing about the conditions or breeder it came from, know nothing about the breed you are enquiring about. They are in it to make money selling someone else's dogs. Breeders will sell to them because they don't want to deal with puppy buyers, don't want you on their premises, and hard to make any guarantee if there is one, stick.
I would never ever consider selling one of my puppies or dogs through a third party whether it be a pet store, broker or other means. The buyer must come and talk to me in person, pass my screening process before I will sell a pup.
