I am updating this thread for Linda.

Linda is on her way with Summer to Texas A&M University, a 2.5 hour drive from where she is. Linda's vet is concerned that Summer's wounds are not healing after two weeks of antibiotics. They are not sure what is going on inside the wound, but they suspect some kind of foreign body or it could be a matter of bacteria deep in the tissue from the dog bite or a hair. Summer is not comfortable and something is definitely going on.

She will be undergoing a CT scan at A&M for a deep tissue exploration.

Linda will likely not be back until late tonight. I told her if she wants to text updates to me, I will come back and post here.

In the meanwhile, please keep Summer in your prayers!
