I have both a male and a female in fact I just took them to the Groomers this morning. I have what's called a "Sanitary Shave" their private parts, my male has a long coat and my female is only 8 weeks so she has a puppy coat. I have both of them shaved about every 2 weeks and I do use Baby wipes every day as needed. It's important to wash them daily and I do try to brush him twice a day. That keeps his coat cleaner too!
