Thanks!!

This one was super easy cause it already had elastic around the neck and arms. Its a newborn size and fits my 4.5 dog very well. I put it on her inside out and backwards so the front of the shirt was on my dogs back. The pretty bow is on the front of the shirt but I wanted it on my dogs backs.

With the shirt on inside out and backwards I pinch the material along the dogs stomach so I know where to take it in. I sew maybe an inch down the chest so it will fit. Then I cut the bottom and hem it. Since this shirt already had the elastic neck/arms I added elastic around the bottom.

I've made a few so far and this one came out the best. I've goofed up a few so far before I figured out the best way to sew it up. I've been buying the shirts at the thrift store for about a dollar. The shirt in the picture is available at targets web site.
