Welcome to YorkieTalk and congrats on your new puppy.

1. I would keep him on the food he is on for a few weeks to let him get use to things then switch to a new food slowly.
2. Did you explain the situation to your vet sometimes they will get you in faster if they know what the situation is. I would not put off going to the vet to long.
3. I would suggest talking them for a walk together and letting them meet first on neutral territory instead of your house first
4. I think it is safer for a puppy to be in a crate at night until they are potty trained and arnt chewing on everything. I would be scared of rolling over on the puppy in the middle of the night. Keep the crate where the puppy is able to see you though.
5. Callie very easily gets cold so unless she is outside running around she normally has some kind of clothing on.
