She was on IV antibiotics in the beginning and it was at the recommendation of the specialist that she go on oral meds. My vet has consulted with them throughout all of this.
I was just over there and her neck looks awful now on that right side. The entire thing is erupting and looks like it is going to be as bad as the other side. Keep in mind that normally they would have gone in but with her severe weight loss and pneumonia they could not anethetize her. That might change today since her chest xray is improved. It would still frighten me, but I would so love for them to get in there and put some drains in.
I will know more later this afternoon after she goes there....I hope they have some kind of ideas. This is just so awful.
