There is no question in my mind. You made the right choice.

Everybody is an expert... I wouldn't stress over what he thinks unless he's a vet?? In these situations, a lot of times it's owner's call as to whether they want things to process or just induce. Ellie is so sensitive. When in doubt, I always induce. I'm sorry. It's just not worth the risk of my dog ending up in hte hospital with pancreatitis and it's also not worth $1-5 grand out of my pocket (that I don't have!).

Obviously before inducing everybody should ask their vet. That said, I know the sensitivity level of my own dog and what the path of less risk is for her (when it comes to food).
