Adding a sibling for me allowed me to see a side of Cooper's personality that I would never have otherwise known. My little man is now an alpha dog and part of a pack. He's so very caring and loving to Max, yet he's such an obnoxious brother. The relationship built between 2 dogs is something that I think every pet owner should experience. They play together all day long, sleep together and are inseparable.
With that being said 2 are much harder than 1!
I don't really take them places like I did when I had only 1 dog (working on that with a trainer). Everything is much more expensive (food, vets, toys, clothing). And if you are a paranoid doggy mom like me it's also double the worry.
I couldn't be happier with 2 dogs. I was very afraid that I would disrupt Cooper's world by bringing home a sibling. It's the best thing I ever did for him.
