I have a jack russell that's pretty hyper and rough. He's my husband's baby and has been man handled since a pup. LOL....He's very good with Chloe but I do supervise them during play time. Other times he's alseep and doesn't even act like she's in the room. If I have to shower, I take her in the bathroom with me along with a chew toy and shut him out. If I have to leave to go out, I crate her and he stays out like always.
I think as they get used to each other it will never be an issue. But given a large dogs size, even when they are being gentle, it could be too much for a fragile puppy. |
