Just to warn you, your pups are very young and it will take a little time. At 10 weeks old, some breeders will not even send them home yet. Mine have always been pad trained, and I have never had a problem once they "get it". It takes a lot of repetition, especially when so young.

I keep a pad in my laundry room off my family room. I keep it in a playpen. I also feed them in there. I put them in there and wait for them to potty. When they potty on the pads, lots of praise and a "nip" of something good to eat. Eventually they get good things happen when they "make" on the pads. You will eventually be able to let them loose in the house and just keep the playpen open for them to go in and make potty on their pad.

I know what you mean, though. At first, it seems like they are not understanding. Hang in there, it will just click one day.
