IMO..when it comes to a pet, these are minor things...so go with the type you like...I like a short muzzle, but not so short as to cause problems...
Another insight is this...when a Yorkie is clipped and there is no puffy top knot, the muzzle always looks longer...I have seen some very long muzzled Yorkies in the ring...but with teasing and puffing, they look correct...coat hides a lot..even a Yorkie with a short muzzle can look longer when clipped...

It is very hard to look at a young litter and tell much...look at the parents and grandparents for better idea of what your Yorkie will look like grown...
