Hi and welcome to YT. My 2 are pad and outdoor trained. We did this as we boat and we like to anchor out.

It is possible. How we did it was train on pad first...since yours are using pad, this will be help. You really need to pay attention and figure out their signs of when they need to potty. Once you see the signs, grab them immediately and place them on the pad. Once they are in the act, use a phrase that means "going potty". We use, "do your stuff".

We have pads in hubby's garage and he takes them out first thing in the a.m. and throughout the night. This started last winter when we had 3' of snow. His garage is his man cave so he spends time out there and as a result, the dogs get to spend time with him while being able to potty.

Once you figure out the signs, you much be diligent in putting them on the pad to potty. Do you know if they potty after eating? If so, watch them and place them on pad for that.

Then praise, praise, praise, and then more praise. lol We praised and gave a small treat. After awhile, they would pee, run for a treat, and then go back and poop and run back for another treat. lol They are smart little boogers.

Hope this helps and good luck! Paitence is another thing to have. It will happen, just give it time.
