Embarassed Advise needed....baby teeth

Our little girl Gabby turned six months old on the fifth. She was missing two top baby teeth and now she is getting her permanent teeth and we seem to have more issues. She has a double set of three of the canines and two of the front baby teeth have gotten tighter instead of falling out. My vet told me to wait until she was eight months old to get her spay and then he would pull any baby teeth. This was before her canines came in at her rabies shot at 24 weeks. Should I go ahead and get her spay earlier to get those extra teeth removed? She never has been a very good eater and now it seems to be worse. I would like her to have a good bite and I am wondering if waiting will decrease that possiblity. I want to do the best I can. Thanks for any words of wisdom or experience you guys may have. I don't know if her mouth is hurting and we have many chew toys.
