I ask My sister to post the question with her docs and nursing students. So that is why I didn't post earlier, because I had no ideas, let alone facts. But here are some of the possible answers. A.Maybe dogs can lose muscle and skin tone and appear to srink just like elderly humans do. B. Muscle weighs more than fat. If muscle mass increases and fat decreaces it is possible for a patient to weigh the same.
