My little Gracie just came into heat - at least, we just noticed her washing herself a lot today, and she is getting swollen.

Hubby only gets paid once a month, and that won't be til the last week of the month. Any ideas for makeshift diapers that will stay on? So far, the sock with leg holes has hit the deck; my girl is also an escape artist! She is just under 7#.

We also plan to get her fixed, like the previous poster, but were going to do so this fall when the income gets a little more stable in our house, and Gracie beat us to it. Things are pretty tight here in MI.

I'd appreciate any good ideas!
