Default We are in love with our Yorkie - BUT

The family have been mad about Yorkies for years, and after a six year break, our last yorkie past away, we decided to buy another Yorkie, and my daughter bought the brother, we bought the female.

The female, Misty weighs in at 6 pounds and is only 4 months old, yet Scottie, the boy is the same age but is 3 pounds.

We spoke to the vet, and they said that it, could be a crossed breed, as we wanted a Yorkie, as it is good with people that suffer Asthma, the vet could not tell us if that was true, the breeder has told us it bred from a Yorkie.

What we dont understand is why there is a difference in weight, and how can you tell if the dog is a Yorkie or not.

Misty is spoilt rotten and is well looked after and is part of the family, but we cannot understand the difference in weight.
