louis is 5 months and about 90% potty trained on wee wee pads. i had him fenced in the kitchen with a wee wee pad and he pretty much went on the pad. after that, i slowly introduced him to the rest of the house, with wee wee pads in each room and corner. (my friend who has chihuahua is totally against this method-she thinks having too many pads out will encourage them to go everywhere, so it's kinda up to you as to what you think will work)

he kinda figured out where the wee wee pads were in each room. then i started taking some away and he's been doing pretty good. i'm down to one in the kitchen, one in the hallway, and one in the living room corner. i removed the one in my bedroom with success, he figured to leave my room and go to the hallway one

so -- it takes time and patience. but there's hope. i still find "accidents" but i've figured people aren't perfect either, so what can u expect?
