 anaesthetic reaction
has anyone's pup ever had a reaction to anaesthetic? Tila was put under for an anal gland flush yesterday. It seemed to have went fine. She was able to come home. I had to work an evening shift last night and I got a message at about 6, my dad had to rush Tila in because he couldn't wake her up. He said she was limp, and her tongue was hanging out the side of her mouth. The gave her her shot to bring her around at the clinic, they did an evaluation after they got her to come around and she checked out fine. Gums were good, eyes were good, heart was good. She is home again and is well. I was so frantic, never been so scared. Was it some sort of reaction to it, or was she just given too much? I wasn't sure about putting her under for a flush, but she was not feeling well at all yesterday so I made an appointment to take her in right away yesterday and they kept her to give her the flush. |
