I'm sorry for your friends loss. My families first dog, a golden retriever was killed when he was hit by a car in a freak accident when he was only 2. It was so sad, it took us 2 years before we even talked about getting another dog. I felt the worst because I wasnt there when it happened and I didnt get to say goodbye so now I always tell my babies goodbye when I leave and I tell them I love them all the time because you never know. I think I'm gonna go give them love right now!
