If the vomiting continues to be a problem through today, you should contact your vet. There sometimes can be appetite loss with heat but only mildly. There are infections that are heat related such as pyometria, that need to be ruled out if this continues. There's really no reason she couldnt be spayed while in heat as long as the vomiting is stabilized, and your vet agrees. The sooner the better!....grooming disasters, well.....find another, as this one seems to have a hearing disability.
