I Love both Orijen and Acana. I had Riley on Orijen Puppy but I think it may have been a little too rich for him... I switched him to Acana and he Thrives on it.... Acana is also made from Champion Pet Foods but has a little less protein than orijen. You will read a lot of different things about protein but from my understanding it is like Crystal said... a high protein diet is not going to cause kidney issues, unless there are already kidney issues.
