Callie didnt bark when she was a puppy and now she still very rarely barks. If we hear her bark we run to find her and figure out what she is barking at and why. She doesn't bark when people are in the driveway or coming up the side walk but she wags her tail like crazy so we have joked about putting a bell on her tail lol.
