My girl Bratt has been doing this for the past 7-10 days. Nothing helped her & we tried medicated shampoo, Revolution, liquid Benadryl, antibiotics (in case it was a skin infection) & she still itched constantly - she even scratched a small area bald under her eye. Hubby took her to the vet this morning for me (his day off) & the vet said it's a bad time of the year right now & a lot of dogs are having issues with Ragweed & itching. My vet gave her an injection of steroids & it's been a miracle. Hubby said the itching was gone by noon & she is finally getting to rest & relax. I wish we had taken her sooner so that she was able to get this relief, ask your vet about a steroid shot and/or pills to help calm down any allergic reactions. I'm glad he gave her a shot - it worked quickly and was so worth the price of the vet visit & medication.
