Lily is 12 wks old and we've had her 2 wks and I'm trying to train her to go on puppy pads so that eventually I can have her go in a litter box. She pees sometimes on the pads, but rarely poops. Last night we went out to friends and left her in the bathroom with food and water and her pad. We were gone about 5 hrs when we got back and let her out she ran out and pooped on the rug and there was nothing from the whole time on the pad. I'm concerned that once she starts going around the house ( and she will go in random spots) that she won't go on the pads. For those of you who've had luck how did you do it? How long did it take? Did you use any special scented pads? Did you have one designated spot? Any help is greatly appreciated!
