The journey to find a dog trainer in my small town has been quite a task. I decided to branch out my search to larger nearby cities (New Orleans, Baton Rouge) in hopes that someone can do in-home training for my 2 boys. For months I've been searching Craigslist, classifieds, yellow pages, asking vets, calling groomers - and finally I found Ryan! He's a behavior consultant/animal trainer and attended the School of Animal Sciences at LSU to earn his masters degree with an emphasis in animal behavior. He promotes scientific, positive training methods and is a firm believer in promoting happy relationships with your pets.
What a Godsend!! We spoke for about 20 minutes on the phone last night. He's excited to take a break away from his typical behavior issue clients and work with basic obedience for my little crazies. He's working on a schedule for us and will get back to me shortly to let me know when we can begin. I dream of the day that I can take my boys somewhere in public, or even on a leisurely walk. We are so excited
