   My kids do this too.  We had Boo, then added Gracie Ruth when she was 12 weeks old.  Boo wasn't use to sharing the food and G would stand at the bowl waiting for Boo to take a bite and then move away.  When he didn't, she told him how rude that was in a very genteel southern lady way...she let out 1 piercing puppy bark right in his ear.Quote:   |

 |    He'd immediately move away.  It didn't take him long to learn some new dog bowl etiquette.  Then Yogi came along 10 months later and he already knew the rules and it was so much fun watching them all taking turns.  Every now and then Boo forgets and just stands over the bowl but G reminds him, with that very genteel southern lady way, and he is quick to return to the proper ways.   |
