I have a kitchen/den arrangement, so I gate that area off when I leave. Copper is so little, the whole house would be overwhelming I think. Plus, I don't want him pottying in the rest of the house. Usually he holds it until I get back. I'm not gone for more than about 4 hours. If I have to be away for the day, my husband comes home at lunch and lets him out and plays with him.
