Usually I do not worry over Bears as they head for the hills most times if given a chance.
This one grunted a warming that was not needed as we had yet to see him. He could have just left and we would never had know.
Trust me we stayed close to home till freeze up. He is only around in the fall.

Moose is a little more scary then tend to be just plan mean and unpredictable.
Now that we know that he is around will be watching the ditches. They tend to hide out in the day time. If the border collie had not bugged him he have not moved from his spot till he were well gone.

We are always careful. Bear bangers always carried and recall on kids and dogs are not an option were I live.
Come and come now means do it and no back chat.
