I have both... along with my girly girl Tilly.. sami (yorki) ted the shred (chi) both are the same age 1 yr two weeks apart! both males and I recently adopted him from my daughters friend, they are like brother's although they fight like brothers
sometimes they can sound viscous when they fight but there is a male alpha thing happening here, because ted was brought in only three months ago, but since your chi is only a baby, Josie will mother him, tilly did reluctantly but now she loves sami sometimes
both breeds get along, my daughter is always teasing ted when she loves on him ( he use to escape from the back yard) fence has been fixed since then she says no more trying to cross the border..
