Usually when people photo your dog because they think it is cute, they are smiling while they are doing it, asking first usually if they can, don't take a bunch of pictures, move on when done and say something to you about your dog or at least make some friendly gesture with the hand or face. Don't people from all countries know to do this as dog lovers we appreciate a fine dog and want to share our love and appreciation of them with each other. This just sounded rather creepy to me in the way the person went about it and not at all like the usual friendly dog lover appreciating a wonderful dog.
