thanks for the input. right now she is doing great with training so i dont put her in crate during day anymore. she is getting better about telilng me when she needs to go, gets fussy and i take her to pad and say my commands. she evenuses the commands outside now too

but during day i just cant have her run wild in the house unsupervised, so she is in the kitchen today with gate up. i will be interested to see what happens when i get home.

i will say the few times i have run to the store and let her have her way on teh first floor of our place, she hasnt done #2 anywhere but her pad. she has been good.
