I am not sure how old your Yorkie is but I am a believer of people letting their Yorkies go if they feel that they are at the end of their rope as more damage will be done to the dog the longer you keep it. It will also give your dog a chance at a new life at a young age.

If you really care about your Yorkie then why don't you give him to a Yorkie rescue group rather than putting him in the paper and God knows who will buy him. Are you aware people buys these dogs to use with dog fighting as bait? Do you know the right questions to see if the next family will not abuse him. People will say all the right things to you and will be lying right to your face. I realize you probably would like your $$$$ back but this is an animal who is a living creature and has feelings. He should not be thought of as a commodity and how much $$$ he is worth. I do think your hands are full but please have some compassion for your dog.

The other option you have is to try and sell him on YT where for the most part people have a geniune interest in a Yorkie but you will still have to be on your toes to sell him to a good home who will understand that they will have to start his training all over.
