Kiko is about a year and a half now and the same thing started happening to her over the summer. I have just resigned myself to not knowing what color she is going to end up until she is three (I read that it could take that long for them to achieve their end color). She started changing colors when she was about 4-5 months. For a while the top of her head was white. It has since turned blonde and is nowing turning tan. Her back went from black to a medium grey/silver fairly quickly and stayed that way until the really dark, almost black, hair started coming in in spots this summer. I know that I didn't really answer your question, but I just wanted you to know that your puppy wasn't the only one this is happening to. |
