First I want to Welcome you to Yorkie Talk! What a wonderful place to talk about your babies, learn about them, tell your stories, and have fun.
My first yorkie was Rocky, and I got him 10 years. I went to see him, and fell in love with him. I didn't realize a friend of mine was breeding yorkies. Later, He would bring Rocky to see me, until he was old enough for me to keep. (12 weeks old) I had been in a terrible motorcycle accident, and Rocky was just what I needed. He is so loving, and sweet. It's hard to believe he is 10 already. I now have 2 more Yorkies. Rocky, Rosie, and Gracie. Candy is a dachshund. Have fun with your baby.
