I would love for us to be the family that takes this dog in for its final years, but I would be scared of the potential expenses: cancer, kidney failure, etc. But my god he is a cutie. Apparently he is healthy enough to be very sexually active. lmao They actually have to neuter this 11 year old boy because he came to the shelter and humped every pillow in sight. |
Ah! That's sad he was never neutered. If your mom wants to take on the care and possible expense then I say go for it, but I know you said you would be leaving. It is something that she will need to decide. Questions that she will need to answer for herself would be if she is home all day; does she go out at night often; is she willing to spend her extra time at home caring for a dependable pup; is she willing and able to spend extra cash on the vetting, food, other needs and possible future medical care. I don't want the answers. I am just throwing these things out there for you and your mom to consider.
