Callie is 4 years old and never had a dental between my brushing and her bone chewing they look amazing little to no tarter. I would never get a dental done on her just because people say a yorkie should get one every year. If my vet thought she needed one I would go with it but I am trying to hold that off as long as possible by brushing and giving bones. If your vet says your dogs teeth are good I think you should be happy about it and keep doing what your doing.
