The Rescue Group that I adopted my Willow and Allie from has a Foster Mommy (Pam) that had to evacuate yesterday evening with about 400 other people in her area- Steiner Ranch which is the West part of Austin. They have not been able to go back their house as all roads are closed with fires still going. They have no idea if their house is safe or not. She is at her Mom's house safe and all the dog's are safe as well. |
I'm sorry to hear that about Pam and others having to evacuate because of the fire. Pam and everyone else affected by these fires are in my prayers. There are hundreds that have lost their homes and the news reported lives were even lost. This heat-wave and drought for the past 3 months has been just horrible. Thank God we are finally getting relief this week The morning temps will dip to around 59 here and will heat up to around 85/90 degrees. I'm wondering if the temp will start rising again after this week. I pray not.
