Yorkies are susceptable to congenital problems that can start with the symptoms you mentioned. That is why the vet recommended those tests, probably. Did the vet explain why they wanted to run the tests to you? Liver shunt is prevalent in yorkies. There are other possibilities.

If the swaying gets worse or if she exhibits other neurological symptoms, I would take her back to the vet immediately. If she becomes more lethargic, again back to vet. If she worsens in any way, I would go back to ER vet. Otherwise, I would definitely go to my regular vet in the am and have them look at her.

You can get care credit lines to pay for vet bills. I think they are available through vet practices.
