If someone were serious about breeding and doing it right, they wouldn't wait until a few months before the next heat and then start looking for info on the internet. They would spend years studying the process ahead of time, work with a good, in person mentor, champion their own dog and have them properly certified BEFORE they started planning a whelp.
As for rescue dogs being mutts or unpredictable, then you haven't put in the time to researching reputable breed rescues. There are many who specialize in specific pure breeds.
Breeding right is not something that should be undertaken lightly. Breeding just because you WANT to is not a good enough reason to do it. |
I agree for those of us learning that do have a mentor that want to get it right and have spent years learning dogs that the right way up but we all have to start somewhere we all did not get good over night... lending a hand being kind and giving gentle respectful advise keeps those learning in the fold so they can do a better job not out in the wilds being a BYB.
And understand Spain that a little tougher to find mentors.
