Ears that stand up or flop is mostly to do so, because it is inherited. The breed standard for Yorkie ears say small V shaped (upright). Many, many full bred Yorkies are not perfect, they have floppy ears or are fat or have crooked teeth etc. Ears up or down is cosmetic, not a health concern.If your dog was a young puppy, you could tape the ears to train them to stand up while they were still growing. Don't worry your dog is adorable.
