Well we were VERY lucky to find a vet's office open on Sunday that could take us!
The vet looked at her belly and ran a flea comb through her- not a single flea or flea dirt- but I had just bathed the crap out of her the night before. I told him I had seen a bug on her and one came out when we bathed her. He thinks she has a flea allergy since she is so red (tummy, legs, her little behind) and has so many spots and yet we can't find a single flea. So he gave her some Advantage and I've been still giving Benadryl- poor thing woke up with her belly all wet from the chewing last night. The vet said since he can't find any evidence of fleas that our house should be ok but to keep vaccuming daily.
So that's where we are now- I have a very red and itchy girl who is very tired from the Benadryl. I will be calling our vet tomorrow to see what we do next. I can't thank you all enough for your help and support!
