The same thing happened with my Abby. It was a shock. But she is cold and always has clothes on. I had her done over 4th of July and right now her hair has only grown about a half inch or so. But her coat is just beautiful. Silky and doesn't tangle. So I am hoping it was just baby fur that created all these tangles in the first place.
I am sure it will come back by the real winter months. Be patient and keep in the brushing routine even though they don't really need it, but it will keep puppy used to the routine. That's what I am doing maybe someone else will be able to give tips on how to grow it faster. |
