Wow... For someone that claims they are here to be "educated" you have a very short fuse. Take a step back, calm down, and re-read the Lorraine's first post with an open mind. I don't know her personally, but judging from her avatar alone, she is a show person. I hope someone that takes the time to show, also knows and loves the yorkie breed. As an exhibitor, she simply wanted to let you know this breed combination might not be the best idea. A simple, "thank you for your input" or better yet, no reply to her at all would have sufficed. As a lover of this breed, I would have appreciated her taking the time to point out something I might not have known. She most likely meant no disrespect, but felt it her job to point something out before another heartbreak occurred. I agree that a prey driven dog that is much larger than a yorkie might not be such a good idea. But, if you're determined to have these two breeds together in your home, google "wheaten terrier club of america" to see if the breed has something similar to the YTCA. That should lead you to a breeder referral page.

For someone who felt insulted, you really didn't hold back on taking a shot on someone else's dog. Just because a dog wears a bow and has pretty, long hair doesn't make it less of a dog, or less of a terrier.
