One year ago today, I journeyed to Western Maryland and in a parking lot of a restaurant sat a white van. A volunteer transporter then handed me a very scared, shy and sad little yorkie. Carol and Bobbie had posted her on Petfinder hoping to find her a home and gave her the TLC she had not had for many years. Debbie arranged for another rescuer to pick her up by Karen who continued to nurture her and who ultimately sent her on her final journey to home.
It is one year today that Tiny arrived home. She was tired, confused and simply exhausted. If you have followed her story you know she has finally found the security of a home that truly loves her and the peace that no one will ever hurt her again. She has found wonderful yorkie talk friends that send love and good wishes for her every day. Life has changed so much for Tiny in a short time.
I consider today Tiny's birthday. A day that taught her that there are people who care. A day that showed me with a time, patience and love even the most broken of spirits can mend.
Tiny and I want to thank everyone for all of your support, thoughts and kindness to her. To those who have sent her gifts she wears and has played with them proudly. To those of you who have been inspired by her to help another little one in need we thank you.
We love you Tiny and are blessed to have you. Hugs, kisses and best wishes from Tiny to all of her yorkie talk friends and family.
