I have her crate in a corner of my bedroom where she can see both me and the wife in bed (I can lift my head up and make eye contact if needed) and my other two dogs in their crate. I have a pillow-pad that covers the entire bottom of the crate for cushioning.
No pee-pads as I don't want to encourage going in the house at all. She's been home a little over a week now with no accidents and this weekend she's started going straight outside when I let her out in the morning. Very proud of her.
When she's up, she has run of the house and she typically lounges somewhere where one of us is at. No favoritism on her part thus far (which frustrates me no end..lol). She'll lay by me at the desk, by the ottoman and the kids watching TV or under the kitchen table if the wife is working on the laptop over there. |
