I think it depends on the manufacturer, some will fray faster than others. I know the no-sew fleece doesn't fray or curl up after laundering.

Best thing would be to cut a scrap and wash it to see how it reacts. If it frays too much with pinking, you may want to run a zigzag stitch on the seams before contruction, or there's a product called 'fray-stop' (I think) that can be applied to the raw edges. I thought pinking was done to slow down the fraying process...IDK.

(I'm still wearing flannel and fleece jammies that I've had and laundered for years, Lol!)
