I know you are saying it's not near their poop or them but I find it suspect that you are only seeing the worms in the potty patch -- are they anywhere else? The potty patch if washed regularly as you are doing and have been for 1.5 years seems to not be an environment to cultivate worms, especially if you are promptly picking up feces.
Will call the vet tomorrow then. Thanks for your help!! I do only see it beneath the grass on the potty patch. They are usually dead by the time I wash the patch, but now they are alive and moving, which creeps me out!! Can those maggots go into their skin? I'm more concerned with that than them a fecal because I highly doubt they have worms...
