Just wanted to get my first post in and introduce myself.
I am a new Yorkie parent. My Jenks came to me via three different homes in less than a month
. Original owner>step-sister>grandmother>Me.
He is three years old and very sweet but a little nervous. He has a licking habit that I keep trying to redirect and he thinks he is a people baby and sleeps in my bed everynight.
I am trying to hurry and find a vet for him Original owner told sister he had shots and could be registered but I can not get in touch with them at all now. So I need to get him checked out and get any shots he needs. I am thinking I may get him neutered/spayed too.
I am going to buy some books on clicker training. I think Jenks would like it an do well. He is such a smart little guy. He is a bit on the big side at seven pounds but that is a good thing since I have two children and he insists on laying with them at nap time.
