Yes. You as he owner simply have no right to breed the dog. If you do, none of your dog's offspring can be registered with AKC, even though your dog is registered.

Limited registration is a way for a breeder to protect their dog's from becoming breeding machines, and from his/her lines being ruined by people who have no clue what they're doing when breeding "for fun." If your looking for a yorkie to be your pet, limited registration is normal.
