Price is an indicator. There have been news reports out lately that ppl are stealing yorkies and selling them at very cheap prices, along w a sad rehoming story to cover up that they are a stolen animal.
Be careful to a dog that is too cheap. This is an indicator that the dam and sire have probably not had proper testing or proper vet care. This is usually a puppy mill. We have them in an area close to where I live. You can get a "purebred dog" cheap, but they were raised in puppy mills.
If I were you, I would apply to a rescue or take some time to save up money to get a yorkie from a reputable breeder. Often these "cheap dogs" from disreputable breeders cost a lot of money at the vet bc of illnesses and congenital defects.
Some more clues are they place dogs before 12 weeks of age. The parents are not on premises and not available to be seen. Pedigrees are not shown. They will sell an unlimited registration to anyone. They advertise outrageously small sizes. There is no health guarantee. They are willing to ship very small animals.
